if you tried anything with CAS lower than 19 let mw know, i was planning to buy these cuz they have a very low CAS and they much cheaper than the crucial ones, but i'm afraid they might not work
For anyone that finds this thread in search, I got some advice on other forums and ended up picking up these: https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B01N2VUOBJ/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 . DDR4-2666 with 15-17-17-35 timings. The installed and worked immediately, XMP profile applied automatically. They made a significant difference in gaming (loading areas, etc.) for smoothness and getting rid of FPS drops so I'm very happy. Hope that helps someone!

How's this looking? Get 1 stick 8GB if you want to upgrade to 16GB in the future you only had to buy another 8GB. Also adding storage in the future when u make more buck. Just get yourself going and add GPU in the future.
If looking in amazon, it's much cheaper though will get you well under 350.

You don’t need a lot to run WoW, so you could probably get something in the $400-$500 range, maybe even less.
I bought the Dell G3 15” that had a super good deal recently. With all coupons and cash back stacked I walked away paying like $520 after tax. I think it’s about $100 more if you take the same route.

I ended up upgrading my ram for another $72:

And upgraded to a 2x2 WiFi card $10:

Whatever you get just make sure you buy one with a SSD, or at the very least install one as your main OS drive right away.
You can also lookup on YouTube how to undervolt with ThrottleStop to lower temps a little bit.
We still have two desktops at home that are from like 2012 but with decent GPU’s, but the convenience of playing and being w family is worth the price of gaming on a laptop.
