I just completed my HTPC build last week and it would meet your requirements.
The total cost would only be about $250 (excluding OS).
Below are the components I purchased (does not include HDD/SSD or OS)

You can say this basically about any computer component, such as this RAM:

Installation: it's RAM, installation like other RAM
Performance: it's 1333 Mhz
Noise: it makes no noise, like other RAM

Still only 2% 1* Reviews.

Really, I have spent some time reading lots of reviews, there is something specific to their (bad) HDDs supply.

I think you want the DIMM version. Like this or this.

This RAM is £5 cheaper, every penny counts on a budget build! Might be worth trying to get a slightly better CPU, as DayZ is more CPU intensive than graphically demanding.

Also RAM is generally pretty cheap, even Kingston. An upgrade might be just what you need!

> You should try to see if the faulty RAM might run at lower clocks (1066MHz or less).

I tried setting the DRAM speed in the BIOS to 800MHz, didn't work.

> Could you find out and list the specs of each RAM module?

I can only do that for the RAM I bought online: This one.

Here are the CPU-Z screenshots of the working RAMs.

Will this work. I think it has 8 black cubes(on each side) is that what you mean.
