I don't start for another two months so I can't speak from experience just yet - but you might want to upgrade to something just based on how that book looks. I can't quite tell if you have one from the pic but I would definitely recommend something with a built in laptop sleeve. This is the backpack I just bought to start school with. Way less money than a brand name and tons space for books, supplies and snacks!
