This makes me shout Imperio!

Okay, then how many different tiny $20-$30 sets would a kid need to actually play with them for more than 10 minutes? Five? Ten?

That's $20. Good luck finding anybody in the world who'll play with that for more than 15 seconds. You'll also find simple character models, one single piece, selling for $7-$10. It's absurdity. And with these sets, you get so many specific pieces that playing with them as, yknow, Lego's is unfeasible thanks to so many pieces only making sense in the proper set.
Again, I love Lego's. I grew up with Lego's. Hell, outside AVPM I think the two Lego HP games are the best HP media out there. But my god are they not worth the stupid prices they charge.
