I have found that an apple cider vinegar rinse every other week or so works great! My hair blow dries a lot faster and it seems fluffier. I ordered one off amazon that’s actually a shampoo scented like apples for like $4-5 bucks. Best investment for my hair in awhile.

Edit: Oops - you weren’t looking for shampoo, but this lets me use my normal conditioner and still leaves it fluffy and not weighed down.

For a less expensive brand that's still really good... I love Live Clean apple cider clarifying shampoo, it makes my hair very much lighter and shiny. If you live in a dry climate, though, I would recommend conditioning well after using it, and perhaps using an oil, as it does make my normally heavy hair kind of staticky.

Seconding what the previous poster said. I have a similar hair type - very thin/fine, but VERY dense so there is a LOT of it, and it gets oily quickly and doesn't hold volume past day 1 (and even that is because it likes the hair dryer). SLS/silicone-free shampoo really helps for me. I use Live Clean Apple Cider Vinegar Shampoo, which I mention constantly on this sub but it's my HG and I will sing its praises until I am forcibly removed from the internet tbh.

I use the fresh hydrating one & once every week, I use the 'detox' one (it's a lot cheaper at my local store than on Amazon), which is a sulfate-free clarifying shampoo. Between that and only washing every other day, my hair is seriously SO SOFT!
