I think you would be better off getting some computer speakers, unless you need the extra portability/bluetooth option. For example, http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-Multimedia-Speakers-Multiple-Devices/dp/B00EZ9XLEY

These seem to get some pretty good reviews:

Personally I just use these speakers and I like them:

the monitors have speakers built into them? or are you going to use the audio jack on your computer?

if youre doing open air audio, i suggest picking up Logitech z150 speakers or something similar to it. You could do pick up a DAC and a pair of headphones like the philips SHP9500

I'm using ATHM50x headphones and a shitty Logitech Z150 speaker..

Using the headphones thru my PC audio jack but the cord positioning is inconvenient. Is there a difference in sound quality if I run my headphones through the speaker's audio jack? I've tested it and I feel it the bass is less clear through the speakers jack. I can't tell if it is a settings problem or an audio jack thing

Hey guys! I'm looking for some cheap ass speakers for my computer, so they don't need something super special with an amp and a sub woofer. P.S I know nothing about speakers. I want these speakers because I have a gaming computer and I want to be able to play a game without using my headphones all the time. My budget is super cheap and I'll most likely be using these speakers for the next year or 2 until I save up for a dope bookshelf speaker setup. (Basically I'll be back here in a year or so to ask for help again.) Also if they can play music/YouTube kinda good that's a plus.

My budget: $50

My own choices are below. (I don't know if they're any good but there below)

Choice 1: https://www.amazon.ca/Creative-A250-Multimedia-Speaker-System/dp/B00CDJJZV6/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1496018863&sr=8-1&keywords=creative+a250

Choice 2: https://www.amazon.ca/dp/B00EZ9XLEY/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pd_nS_img?_encoding=UTF8&colid=1BG327DW8P9PW&coliid=INT5NHSC7PCBR&psc=1

Choice 3: https://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16836280008 (These are sold out but they looked promising? This is also coming from someone who knows nothing about speakers!)

Also I live in Canada so it would be great if they're in Canadian price.
