I have a strong feeling that its using VLAN tagging. That's how fiber internet works in most of the countries.

You'll probably need a SFP adapter and a [VLAN ID customizable router] (https://www.amazon.de/TP-Link-Archer-C6-Wireless-Gigabit-Anschl%C3%BCsse/dp/B07GVR9TG7) (or any router with dd-wrt to) to have your own setup. You might be able to reuse the SFP module (which looks like this) from your Jio router.

Get this one you will not regret, out of all I tried this gives the most stable and most range and is also dual-band and supports 1gigabit lan.

So what I gather from this is that it might be better for me is to get that device that consumers call "router", since I need to have better wireless, but also connect few devices by wire (TV, smart hub) and also to connect that "router" to my modem/router?
