Hey OP, I live in Texas as well and just treated the house for roaches. After Spring time, they seem to explode and the few tiny ones you see rarely in the kitchen suddenly become massive amounts of them overnight. I used this product from Amazon (after getting recommendations from a Pest Control place) and it has worked amazingly well. It's inconspicuous and you don't have to worry about spraying chemicals around where you eat. We tried DE and the roaches just laughed at us.
