I like the Garnier Miracle Skin Perfector 5-in-1 BB Cream. It's light, moisturizes the skin and still reduces redness and pores on the skin.

Garnier doesn't sell this on Amazon themselves though, so I'd probably get it elsewhere. Saw a couple reviews on other listings from customers saying they got expired or wrong products.
For concealer, the Maybelline Fit Me Concealer is pretty good. It's on the affordable end (Drug store brand), but has a good rep and is easy to blend. Concealers are like high density foundations, so you want to use as little as possible on the specific spots you're trying to cover.

Your skin will always be better off without makeup, but the general rule is to wash it off at the end of the day. Sleeping with it on is considered bad for the skin - But nothing that will ruin it after one night (So you'll get through hookups just fine). Just don't make it a habit.
BB Cream is better for your skin than normal makeup since it also has the properties of a sunscreen and moisturizer. It's been used by both men and women in Korea for decades to achieve and maintain that "naturally flawless" look.

These are the products I use. I start with this primer, then I use this color corrector, this concealer, and [this foundation](https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00PFCSUNC/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&th=1]. I finish with this etting powder.
For your foundation I would try either Stila, Hello Flawless by Benefit, or Stay Matte by Rimmel! I think the key to keeping the skin matte is to brush a translucent powder or a stay matte powder over your skin after your liquid foundation. This is generally what I do. I use BB cream and then use Bare Minerals over it!
For concealer I prefer liquid because it goes on smoother and you can decide how much coverage you want. The liquids are more buildable where as the sticks tend to not be. I would start with this one. It's a nice run of the mill concealer!
If you don't like bronzers with glitter ( I don't!) go with a matte bronzer!

Yep, by neutrals I mean browns, tans, creams, greens, even some soft pink colors just things that are muted and not too bright will work great in the professional world :)
What you'll want to do with blush is be very light handed. When use pack it on your brush don't swirl it around. Just lightly tap it in the color. After it's packed to your liking, tap the brush on something or with your hand this should get rid of the excess. After that you can apply just be very gentle and take your time! If you mess up you can always fix it with concealer.
With chapstick I definitely keep applying, but I'm not religious with it. It's more about functionality. I apply it when my lips feel dry lol :)
