On the other hand, #1 is an american cockroach, which can infest homes but luckily is easy to exterminate because they breed slower than most other cockroaches.
Get yourself a tube of Advion gel and apply it in pea sized dots in crevices all around the rooms you see roaches in. This will draw the the adults out of hiding and poison their bodies. Search youtube for application guides:
