Oh god I'm a huge nerd.. that book, on the bottom left, is a good collection of articles on Artificial Intelligence (from a philosophical and high-level point of view, not so much on the implementation level). Can't believe I recognize it from a class I took 3+ years ago.

Haugeland Mind Design
Aye, though a lot of what I've heard is anecdotal. I do a specific example in John Hagueland's Mind design II which covers cognitive neuroscience, psychology and philosophy of mind as ways of modelling artificial intelligence specifically in the way we want it to behave.
