You look pretty solid, honestly.

How much night hiking do you do? Are you sure you need the headlamp? You could probably get away with something like this. It's the one I use, weighs like 9g

Also, how attached are you to your jetboil? Have you tried the BSR? Only weighs 25g, uses the same fuel. Your pot should fit as well.

There are no must-haves. You should be constantly evaluating what you need and what you use, and swapping things in and out as your routines and activities evolve.

I used to carry 15 or so items as EDC, and because of certain changes, I've slimmed down to four or five.

That said, there are some more common items that you will probably find useful. I recommend going through a large number of submissions on this sub and finding the things you like or think you could use, and then looking for a version of those that fit your budget/use case.

  • A pocket flashlight, such as the streamlight microstream (look for the one with the s-clip). There are nicer ones available if you like shiny metals, available through massdrop, Amazon, or the countycomm website.

  • a pocket knife or multitool. I like the leatherman style ps most of the time and a Victorinox evo s16 when I need a blade or am doing more serious work. A lot of people will recommend small folding knives like the gerber paraframe (do be wary of gerber though, they get a lot of flack for poor QC) or the small spyderco knives. A knockoff sebenza can also be a good bet. Lots of people also edc a larger multitool, but if you did not already have one you probably don't need one. Check out the leatherman skeletool for a good balance of tools and knife, and also look through leatherman's online catalogue to see if anything catches your eye.

  • perhaps some sort of key organisation, if you have the need, like the keysmart or this thing.

  • a good pen. either the F-702 mod, a parker jotter, the pilot G2, or the F-301. Some people (myself included) sometimes carry something like this, which has a LED light on the end (I carry one when I'm flying or passing through security checkpoints, it's one less thing to take out of my pockets and lets me still have a pen or a light handy). There are some very nice pens out there and some very cool ones as well.

  • the more tacticool-ly inclined (nothing wrong with it) may choose to carry a paracord bracelet, or something more suped-up.

  • phone accessories may be useful, like a good external battery (Anker is a very well-reputed brand). Or a small charging cable (I have a 8-pin lighting to microUSB adapter for my Iphone so that no matter who I'm borrowing a charger from I can still use it). Other things may include external camera lenses, cases, or styluses.

  • headphones. Lots of people love music. I love my Koss portapros (and their lifetime warranty, any time they break I pay shipping and handling for a new pair). You could also check out a cheaper version of the MTH-M50s. Alternatively, a good pair of earbuds will do you well, or if you really want to splurge (and I hear it's a great reason to), get a pair of custom IEMs. check out /r/headphones, they know more than I.

  • a nice watch or two. I like my G-Shock rangeman, because it has a ton of features. My dad likes his garmin smartwatch (notifications and music controls on your wrist, plus fitness tracking!). I also like my timex weekender, for simpler times. The weekender also is very easy to swap from band to band, making it a good fashion choice, with a small selection of different coloured bands. I also like my Kisai Sensai from Tokyoflash Japan, but it has stopped working and I need to find someone to take a look at it for me. Buyer beware, shipping to and from asia is expensive.

  • Lighters. Even non-smokers like to be ready to start a fire any moment of any day. Zippos look cool and bics are cheap.

  • wallets. Slim wallets, fat wallets, money clips, the world is your oyster. I don't have many recommendations here other than to carry less than you tink you need. I was lucky enough to receive what has been my perfect wallet as a gift a bunch of years ago. It has two pockets, one of which holds currency, a few spare bus passes, and a few sheets from my notebook, and the other holds my cards. I advise keeping a bus pass for you to get somewhere and back in your wallet, for obvious reasons, or other applicable public-transport tokens/passes, and also to keep a few sheets torn out of a notebook in case you need to leave a note for someone (if you ding their car, for example).

  • notebooks. I like moleskine. I tried out a few field notes (notably the expedition water proof ones, as well as a normal one), and while the dot-grid was fantastic for sketches, the paper was just bad. Moleskines have great paper and a normally lines or blank page works for everyday tasks. I also have carried and enjoyed small reporters notebooks from five-star with a plastic back and front, as well as small composition notebooks.

  • sunglasses, hats (I have a steadily growing collection of touques, for all seasons), gloves (I recommend these for all seasons, I usually find them at costco), adn other outerwear is a less focused on, but still important aspect of your EDC. A great pair of boots (check /r/buyitforlife for recomendations) will serve you even better than a nice pen.

  • water bottles. I like nalgene one litres with a humangear capCAP. Others like smaller volumes, stainless steel, vacuum flasks, etc.

  • bags. Backpacks, messenger bags, fanny packs, organisers, stuff sacks. Search to your heart's content, you will never find the perfect bag, but you will find one that you really like. And you've gotta put things somewhere.

  • Belts. Once you start carrying stuff in your pockets, your pants begin to sag. Invest in a good belt. Again, consult with /r/buyitforlife

  • Some people carry fidget toys or spinners, I cannot comment on those, but if you lurk around this sub more you'll learn about them. I personally just twirl my pen around my fingers or walk a quarter across my knuckles.

I think that covers pretty much everything other than the really obscure stuff. Feel free to ask any questions.
