When people start making pizza, they're generally not that critical of it's faults. As they continue to make pizza, though, they typically begin to recognize common flaws. One incredibly common flaw is the hard crustiness that one gets with a very long bake. As you extend the bake time, pizza dries out and gets very crusty.

Anything you can do to reduce the bake time will produce a puffier/softer/better pizza, with the 4 minute bake time being the holy grail for the vast majority of home pizza making obsessives. Over the years, home pizza makers have spent countless hours and countless dollars trying to shave time off the bake clock. This is why steel has revolutionized home pizza making- greater conductivity, faster heat transfer equals faster bakes at lower oven temps.

While I can only tell so much from a photo, it feels a lot like you're at around a 12 minute (or more) bake. If this is the case, 1 cm steel should take you down to about 8 minutes, while 2.5 cm aluminum will get you to 4.

You're working with red clay tiles, correct? If so, something like this will be a very slight improvement:

but this is only going to take you from 12 to 11, maybe 10, if you're lucky. Sure, it's a retail option, but it's 25 quid and it gets you practically no where.

You could hack your oven. There's ways to fool it into thinking it's cooler than it actually is so you can increase the temp it goes to. If you can push your oven to around 315C, that will give you a pretty fast bake on clay- maybe as little as 5 minutes.

But hacks can get involved, and, to an extent, risk damaging the oven. If you're careful, though, you can minimize the risk.

Still, though, if you're going to put the time in on a hack, you might as well put the time in on sourcing steel or aluminum. An hour's worth of phone calls to metal distributors and maybe another half hour total of surface prep and you should be good to go.
