I have good and bad ones. I'll start with the good...
I met a super cool guy a few years back. Pierced and tattooed, loved video games and comics, etc. Our first date was a quick dinner. After, we sat outside the restaurant on the river bank for hours just talking and being silly. It was great. We went to the zoo together the next weekend and I hung out at his house a few times after that. We both weren't really feeling like dating, but loved spending time together. So we became friends and I hung out with him and his brother all the time. They're still good friends!!
The bad: way too many. One was a decent looking guy, seemed interesting, etc. We met for dinner and he was shorter than I was, had an awful lisp (not a big deal, just wasn't expecting it), and was extremely cocky about his job at GE. He bragged about money and stuff and it was just an awful time of him talking and me sitting there. FINALLY it was over and I said I had to go straight home. He walked me to my car and kissed me. Like, no notice at all, just slammed his face into mine. He had horrible onion breath and just ick. When he left I wiped my mouth with a wet wipe and drove home. When he tried to text me the next day that he had a great time and wanted to see me again, I had to say the stupid generic things. "You're cool, but I didn't feel the connection" blah blah blah. But really he was just arrogant and completely different from his profile.
I continued to try it and only ever met people who wanted a "friend with benefits" which I wasn't into. I finally stopped, and then reconnected with an old friend through Facebook from 1000 miles away. I always seem to find what I want when I stop looking. (:
