Onkyo HT-S5600. 7.1 Channel receiver with 80W/Ch, HDMI, analog upscaling, 7 speakers and a subwoofer. If you really want loud, and you can increase your budget, the Onkyo HT-S9400THX is right up your alley.
I need some help. I recently purchased this Onkyo sound system for my home theater. The previous homeowner had installed these mounting brackets. Unfortunately, I think the speakers that come with the set are too big to securely mount on the these mounting brackets. I need help on finding either a) a new set of mounting brackets or some sort of really strong adhesive duct tape to stick them to the brackets.
Any help you can provide will be great.
Thanks!
Sounds like you want a prepack system. I'm going to be honest in saying a 7.1 on that budget will be tight. The speakers in a lot of these sets are really on the lower end of the spectrum but it's what is going to fit your budget. Here are some options with small speakers and a sub included.
Refurb options
You could also get an AVR and a speaker set to make you're own prepack if you wanted. You could also get an AVR with separate speakers to make a 5.1 or 7.1 but that would be tough with your budget.
