Use this kind of measuring cup that has a plunger: https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Adjustable-Measuring/dp/B00A2KDAIW/ref=pd_sbs_79_img_0/145-2050494-8654802?_encoding=UTF8&pd_rd_i=B00A2KDAIW&pd_rd_r=8e187a48-79cf-4a29-9dcd-afd7d4c5e2b3&pd_rd_w=eL5gt&pd_rd_wg=i9rtD&pf_rd_p=5cfcfe89-300f-47d2-b1ad-a4e27203a02a&pf_rd_r=F4SSFRKZ1J9ZTTVFJC5G&psc=1&refRID=F4SSFRKZ1J9ZTTVFJC5G
Stop with that nonsense. here is the best solution to sticky ingredients.
For all the people like me who realized a push up measuring cup was a fantastic idea, but didn’t know they existed, here it is in all its glory. Review and all. Just ordered one!
Measuring cup!
Agreed, I have this one: http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Measuring-Sticky-Stuff/dp/B00A2KDAIW
The big thing while cooking with smaller amounts of cookwear is to keep soapy water in the sink and wash stuff right away so it's ready to go when you need it. You don't need multiple knives: just wash it quick, wipe it dry, and use it. Same with measuring stuff (just be smart about measuring dry before wet as well)
I'm also assuming that you have Plates/flatware/bowls/etc. Make sure to have enough bowls (I like Corelle ware for cheap and durable) to do your mise en place to quickly reuse the limited measuring cups.
Try one of these measuring cups with sweet plunger action.
i use one of these - https://www.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Adjustable-Measuring/dp/B00A2KDAIW
Get one of these
i have never met a recipe that compensates for the residue on the measuring cup. using the measuring cup to measure the oil ingredient of the recipe before measuring viscous ingredient will also work (if its a option). also there are also adjustable measuring cups like: http://www.amazon.com/OXO-Grips-Measuring-Sticky-Stuff/dp/B00A2KDAIW
they do a pretty great job of leaving no residue
Ah I totally misunderstood that but no need for the downvote (if that was you).
Looks to be this measuring cup: https://smile.amazon.com/OXO-Good-Grips-Adjustable-Measuring/dp/B00A2KDAIW
Theyre really nice for ingredients like peanut butter, sour cream, mayo, honey... anything youd have to scrape out of a regular measuring cup, it does most of the scraping for you.

Something similar to this might help, pack it in then push it out

Or you could get something like this.

Don't have all the answers but for ingredients like honey you can get something like this...

look around and you might find a better (cheaper) choice.
