I've been looking in to buying a turntable pretty soon. I already own a set of Phillips powered speakers that use an aux connection which I'm happy enough with for now, but every post/comment I've come across has no mention of aux connections. The current plan is to buy a turntable with a built in preamp and just hook it up to the speakers using the aux cable or going through an aux-RCA convertor (or whatever is necessary), kinda like the bottom option in this picture. Would there be any problems with doing this? Would i need to buy a new set of speakers for the turntable?

These are the speakers i own already in case I've left out any relevant info. Thanks in advance!
