I want to be able to run already recorded audio from my daw through outboard effects and record the effected audio as a new track within the same session.

I'm using Cubase Elements 9.5 and I was looking at the Behringer U-Phoria 404hd

I like that this has pre-amps, phantom power, and the xlr/quarter inch jacks.

Will this this do what I want? Are there better options at a similar price?

Edit* will I also be able to use a setup like this to have a track with a square wave pulsing at the project BPM and use one of the outputs on the interface to send clock to my analog and modular synthesizers?
