AA doesn't have a higher success rate than kicking the habit yourself, even among believers. SMART is reputable enough; at the very least, they have the good sense to use cognitive / behavioral therapy and, you know, evidence-based methodology.
Recommended reading / listening: Powerless No Longer, by PW Soderman
And, remember: because you are the only person who makes decisions for you, the drive to stop drinking has to come from you; no external pressure, however sympathetic to it you are, is going to make it happen. You need to want to be a better person, accepting that it's going to be hard.
Always remember the basic rules of travel: know where you are; know where you want to be; take the first step.
One thing you can start with is, every time you drink, write it down; measurement is how you know where you are. If you don't go all straight-up, cold turkey, dump-all-your-bottles, at least make it a point to make that number smaller every week. Be the "higher power" you have to answer to.
\ Metrics matter. By "better", I mean several metrics: more reliable; more able to synthesize goals and achieve them; more capable; more helpful to those around you; more able to predict future events; more the person you think you should be.
There is a book called "Powerless No Longer" by Peter Sodermen. He writes about how to overcome addiction through your own power not with a higher power.

There's this book that I've heard decent things about: Powerless No Longer
I'd second other's suggestion about seeing a therapist. Personally, I think most charges of porn and sex addiction are bullshit and just usually symptoms of an actual problem.
