Like others have said, too much glass not enough martini.
I think your problem is you're making a traditional sized martini, but using a modern glass. Double your amount of vodka and vermouth, but leave the rest the same and it'll look much better.Edit: Whoops I spaced on the amount of liquor that goes into a martini, a 3-4 oz. martini is normal, this is a big glass isn't it.And I sorta agree with /u/veggietrooper about the glass style, but for different reasons. To me a coupe says gin martini, while a straight-sided cocktail glass says vodka martini.
I'm also not a fan of the single use cocktail picks, both due to sustainability and aesthetic concerns, you could improve the look with some reusable ones like these (Or if you don't take yourself too seriously these).
