> Spanish inquisition.

Sure. But that was a long, long time ago now, and holds no relevance to us today, outside of an interest in history.

> Anders Breivik.

The distinction to be noted here is - first and foremost, that this was one man with mental health issues. Whereas Islamic fundamentalism, time and time and time again, breeds this sort of behaviour. The other distinction to be made is, whilst man x can commit atrocity y, and claim that it is because of value system p, this does not make it true. Whereas, in the case of the Quran, the Quran actually does demand the behavour we are seeing today. There's no two ways about that.

> And by saying an entire culture should be wiped out (I assume that's your solution)

You shouldn't be so presumptuous, it makes you look silly. Where did I say that it ought to be wiped out?

> you're just not thinking shit through very well.

The irony.

> just because a 1% takes some of their holy books in a shitty context,

No, they read their book and take it as it is.

You do realise that a majority of Muslims support the death penalty for apostasy, right? Or the stoning of adulterers? Or the stoning of homosexuals? If that's your 1%..

Oh, it's everywhere. You can get it as an ebook on Google Play Books and Amazon Kindle. There's lots of cheap copies on ebay and Amazon. There's even a free android app with different translations and recitations.

I recommend these:

The Torah is technically just the first 5 books of the Old Testament. Read the Bible from beginning to end skipping the boring parts.
