Don't get a CPU cooler because you can overclock easily with the stock cooler for the Pentium. Take the extra money and get a Gigabyte r9 280. http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/aw/d/B00IYD0HYO/ref=mp_s_a_1_4?qid=1420134574&sr=8-4&pi=AC_SX110_SY165
The page says both, but I think that's an R9 280, not an R9 280X. The one with the X is more powerful.
For example, I know this page is an R9 280 (without the X), but it still says 280X if you scroll down.
What is the difference between:
http://www.amazon.co.uk/SAPPHIRE-AMD-Graphics-Card-DDR5/dp/B00IRTXPBM/ref=cm_cd_ql_qh_dp_t
and

Then i'd get this one http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B00IYD0HYO/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_dp_ss_1?pf_rd_p=569136327&pf_rd_s=lpo-top-stripe&pf_rd_t=201&pf_rd_i=B00FONITA6&pf_rd_m=A3P5ROKL5A1OLE&pf_rd_r=06FP5WKBPJDZFA185MF2 Great for the cost and the cooling is great, I have the older version myself (HD7950) and it's a great card. Mine runs BF4 ultra 50-60fps and the R9 280 is an update version so expect performance.
Yeah, the 760 should be enough. I'd say a price drop of $30-50 new will probably happen, and the used/refurb market will have some steeper drops, offering some pretty amazing deals if you're willing to hunt and take something secondhand. I remember grabbing my i7 2600k for $90 used when the 3770k launched.
With that said, unless you're set on nVidia I feel like an R9 280 will be the better long term solution for the extra VRAM, especially if you plan on overclocking. Seeing as the consoles have ~3GB VRAM to use, there's a chance developers may start getting sloppy and having 3GB VRAM as the minimum later in the generation. A little shopping around can net you one for ~£140. Not to mention the card is also slightly more powerful than a 760. The only thing to be wary of is it will kick out a lot of heat.
Alright, cool, thanks for your help - But last question, what about
MSI R9 280
Gigabyte GV-R928WF3OC-3GD
Gigabyte R9 280 (this one and R928WF look very similiar, this one is actually little bit better, and cheaper (my guess)
Isn't the Gigabyte R9 280 the best and also cheapest of all the cards mentioned?
