A lot of great mentions already- Ready Player One, The Road, Alas Babylon, One Second After. I'm a huge fan of rebuilding, post-apocalyptic dystopias of the non zombie/ supernatural variety. One Kindle series that I haven't seen a lot of love posted for is JF Perkins' Renewal series (10 novellas, 99 cents each on Amazon). World War, EMP, chaos, new world order over a span of 40 or so years. Big fan.

I read (and LOVED) a series recently that is a sort of positive slant of the dystopian genre. Renewal is about keeping our humanity after a societal collapse.
