There are three possible upgrades, if you want to use up your budget:

1. The gpu. You could go to a R9 390X. I did not include this by default because you pay more more than you gain performance, it is over the sweet spot.
The mainboard. A Z170 mainboard would maybe enable you to overclock the processor (it looks like even the non-K processors can be overclocked soon) and includes more new connectors (USB 3.1C for example). I did not include that because you said overclocking is not wanted, and because I don't know whether you have a use for the connectors.
The case. One of the best in the market is the Fractal R5. Did not include that because not everyone wants to spend that much on a case.
