$149 for that is also a bit spendy.. My current computer desk is a Sauder 408726 Beginnings, which at least has a storage compartment on the bottom, a PC tower shelf, and a pull-out keyboard drawer, and costs less than the Ikea Bekant.. I just need something bigger now.

With my home setup, I have this desk.
Where the tower is supposed to go, I have some plastic bin drawers and the NFB12.1 sits on top so it's right above the keyboard tray. I connect my D2000s and run the length back towards the back of the desk and use binder clips to guide the cable and up my monitor stand where the holder is. Everything is tucked nice and neat, cable never gets in the way. It's a hassle to disconnect/undo but they never leave my desk so it's not a problem for me. I use my HI2050 when I want to move around.
