Like what user Chocomel said, Momentum 2 over ears would be the best purchase.
They show as $199.98 for me! That's a great price for them.

Well, its a Sennheiser, which may sound similar to your older set and you were looking for a change, but there is the Urbanite XL.
More expensive would be the Sennheiser Momentum 2, but they are definitely bassy.
Sennheiser momentum 2 is built far better and comes with a lifetime warranty. As far as audio goes I've never actually tried beats for an extended period so I couldn't say, but the momentum 2's sound fantastic and look great.

You could still do it and buy a replacement cable like this to use with your iphone. The cables are pretty inexpensive and the headphone new are much more expensive for the iphone version.
Thanks for the info (:

If you don't mind buying from Amazon warehouse, you can regularly find the sennheiser momentum 2.0 for around $160. Best closed cans I have used. They have an inline mic which is why they have android or Apple options. I use mine for my ps4 headset too haha.

Momentum 2.0 has a nice warm bassy signature that should suite you well and it's at the top of your price range: [Here's a set I found on amazon.com] (https://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Momentum-2-0-Apple-Devices/dp/B00SL2YX02/ref=sr_1_2?s=electronics&ie=UTF8&qid=1482720035&sr=1-2&keywords=momentum+2.0). Hopefully this helps you.
Budget - $100 - $200. Slightly flexible
Source - Mainly laptop computer, sometimes iphone
Preferred Type of Headphone - Full size, Over Ear. Comfy enough to wear for a while. Not unattractive.
Preferred tonal balance - Not really sure honestly. I like a nice bass. Whatever would go best with my music preferences.
Past headphones - Bose SoundSport earbuds
Preferred Music - Hip-hop, trap, jazz
A couple I'm currently looking at are:
Sony MDR-7506
Sennheiser Momentum 2.0
Beats Studio 2.0

That being said, I would recommend any of the following:
But outside AT, take a look at:
Simple question, don't think I need the template?
Looking to buy Sennheiser Momentum 2's. Amazon has three different variants for Apple, Android, and with Active Noice Cancellation.
I will be using them mostly at home, but if I am travelling I will be using an Android phone. Do the headphones vary at all when used with my computer? And what is the difference between the Apple and Android variants? If it's only the volume rocker I am happy to sacrifice that to save $60.
On that note what is up with the huge variance in price? Do different variants have a different sale schedule? Should I jump on one of the three or wait for a sale?
If you travel with them, they should be:
At the lower end of your price range, the Sennheiser Momentum 2.0 Over-Ears comes with all of those features/traits plus an overall balanced neutral sound. The leatherette earpads seal out sound but you might find they get warm after a while. You can swap them out for inexpensive velour earpads sacrificing a bit of sound leakage prevention for better comfort.
Near the top of your price range are the Oppo PM-3's. The only aforementioned feature/trait it lacks is collapsibility. Also, the sound signature might be polarising - some might like it, some might not, i.e., not enough treble. Here's a detailed review of its pros and cons, plus a quick combined review of the Momentum + PM-3.
That's badass, can you do the same thing with these ones?
Sennheiser Momentum 2.0
If you don't need mic, just don't buy gaming headphones.
You should check Sennheiser Momentum 2.0, it's steal for that price. They are also available in wireless if you want that.
