Sennheiser Momentums
-Less than half the price of beats.
-Sounds better than anything beats can crap out.
-Good for the average user, no amp needed.
If you're willing to spend Beats money but want to get your money's worth you can go with Sennheiser HD650 or B&W P7. But remember with these, you're going onto audiophile territory and some need headphone amps. The higher you go, you hit diminishing returns. In the end, for the average person you just don't need to go spending that much on headphones for decent quality.

You saved $5 , sometimes the excuse to buy is more important than the savings. :)http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B00DKPXU9A/ref=mp_s_a_1_3?qid=1426522237&sr=8-3&keywords=sennheiser+momentum&pi=AC_SY200_QL40

Both would sound better then two of the headphones on the list and and both are constructed with premium materials. They also both have a slim profile and look very nice.
I am a huge fan of sennheiser so I'll recommend these. Super cheap, I would have bought these over my amperiors if i weren't using them for mixing. These look comfy too. Honestly, I don't know if its a good fit for you. This is how I would spend my money.
Also, take advantage of amazon's 30-day return policy. I ordered a dt700, amperiors, hd-25iis and the dt1350. I only kept one. Saying goodbye was hard.

For what use? the best thing for games is to buy the mic and the headphones separately.
This gets you GREAT headphones then not just "gamer headphones" which are just not as good.
* EDIT **
( I saw you want wireless - so all the below options are quite good, but they will not fit that need)
for wireless - the best is here: http://www.innerfidelity.com/content/innerfidelitys-wall-fame-wireless
Then you attach a mic -- the popular one is the Zalman ZM-1. it's 10 dollars.
Or if you want to go upscale on the mic - check out antlion
http://www.modmic.com/
BELOW ARE WIRED
if you want "on ear" - check out Sennheiser momentum on-ear cans
they are being closed out for the new line, and they are a bargain at 100 bucks

if you want closed (over ear completely) -- many will say the audio-technica M50x is the choice for gaming

Couple days ago a few gentlemen recommended me the following and I can't decide by myself: Koss Portapro
SMS Sport
Sennheiser Momentum
SMS Street
Jabra Revo
Isolation is preffered
Music: Rap/hip hop , Rock , Alternative Metal , Techno
Using them while working out at home/mostly outdoors , need them to be comfortable for running
Source: iPhone 4 , PC
Past Headphones: Only ever Apple earphones
Thanks in advance (hoping the format of the comment is acceptable)
then hurry the momentum is on sale http://www.amazon.com/Sennheiser-Momentum-On-Ear-Headphone-Black/dp/B00DKPXU9A/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1420664893&sr=8-2&keywords=sennheiser+momentum
What color Momentums should I buy?
Amazon Link
Design looks straight off of the Sennheiser Momentum
I think the headphone sub has an advice sticky and they frown on advice posts. Just a heads up.
So you realize the 558's are open headphones. So you are going to leak noise. Particularly on a bus. You'll turn it up to drown out ambient noise and it'll bleed out like crazy.
Would you object to on ears? Momentum's Seem to be right up your ally if so. Also at a very good price right now because of the holidays.
The other set I'd shoot for is maybe the KRK-6400. They have a really good sound stage for a closed headphone, particularly any under $300 bucks or so.
Those two should have decent isolation, be comfortable, and have near the sound signature you are looking for. I added my own requirement for you, and that's durability. Pleanty of cans in your $ would work, but some of the budget kings aren't so durable. You said your going to be on a bus, to track meets. Lots of moving around with them, plus even if you take care of your stuff, who knows what could happen on the bus.
For the final thought, you can't really make a bad choice with the 50's. There is a reason they are so ungodly popular. They are an all around decent headphone.
Budget: I'd prefer $50-$75, but would go up to $100
Source: PC, iPhone
Requirements for isolation: not a priority, but it would be nice for bus rides and in general
Preferred type: On-ear
Preferred tonal balance: no preference, i'm pretty new to headphones so balanced I guess?
Past Headphones: Apple earpods, a shitty pair of sony that I got for like $15
Music: Broadway, alt rock, electronic
I'm looking at some Audio Technica's, either the m40s or m40x's if I can find a reasonable price. Also looking at these
Thanks!
Budget - $150 - $200
Source - Desktop -[Spotify/Youtube/Games]
Requirements for Isolation - Moderate amount would be good, Have roomates.
Preferred Type of Headphone - Over ear would be more prefered but I'm alright with on ear
Preferred tonal balance - I have more preference towards bass, so anything that has more emphasis on that would be great.
Past headphones - SteelSeries Siberia FROST (These were perfect, but they just died so fast), Currently using the Koss KSC75 and they are great but its time to move one.
Preferred Music - I listen to many things, Rap & JPop being the main, then Pop punk and other sorts.
Currently looking at http://www.amazon.com/AKG-240-Semi-Open-Studio-Headphones/dp/B0001ARCFA/ref=sr_1_9?s=aht&ie=UTF8&qid=1417038791&sr=1-9

Thanks for any help :)
Budget- $100 but might be willing to go up to 150 for the "right" pair of headphones.
source- Mainly my computer
Requirements for Isolation - At least some. A lot would be better but not necessary.
Will you be using these Headphones in Public doubtful
Preferred Type of Headphone Over ear would be preferred but on ear would be acceptable.
Preferred tonal balance Good balance with a little higher than average bass (but not too much)
past headphones- Various
Preferred Music - Don't really have a preference. Like all kinds.
What would you like to improve on from your set-up Something to fit my large head and is durable(lost so many good headphones to stress cracks and the plastic crumbling). Would like a good overall sound with a little extra bass(not too much). Any style would do but if possible something retro like this but more of a modern look like these
The sennheiser momentum on-ears look pretty nice, but are a little over your budget.

I'm considering the sennheiser momentum
link #1
link #2
why is #1 $100 more?edit: link#1 is over ear link #2 is on ear
I own the Sennheiser Momentum On-ear that I can't really complain about but since I never take them outside, would it be a good move to sell them and get the HD558? The Momentum on-ear's sound is good to me but the comfort factor is not top notch for the amount of time I wear them.
thank you. just picked up a pair.
eta: I got these http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00DKPXU9A/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 are they not the same?
