- I'd hoped to be published for a long time as my mom has been telling me I'd be a writer since I was six. But things got pretty dark and convoluted along the way. Ironically, about a month before I published Shipwrecked on Amazon, I had made my own personal peace with never "making it" as a writer. So the best advice I can give a struggling writer is probably "give up." I did... and then things immediately started happening for me.
