Had one of these and it worked great until i got a little meat juice in it... Then it was FUBAR. Also, Foodsaver bags will send you to the ppor house in a hurry and making bags from the rolls can be a pain... Recently purchased a Sinbo brand that allows you to seal liquids as well. http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00GN2KU0O/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1 So far it works OK, vacuum doesn't seem to be as good on the snorkel models but it does use much cheaper bags. I'd give it a 3 out of five. Like the vacmaster mentioned below, it also has some manufacturing "hurdles".
