Reddit mentions of Something Coming, a New Age Thriller Book 1: The Sacred Mountain

I went through a similar process with reviews for my first novel, also an apocalyptic story featuring a totally unexpected messiah.. The first reviews came from people I knew who received advance copies. I then rewrote parts of the book based on feedback. Later reviews came from readers I didn't know. I told reviewers I know to give whatever star-ranking they felt was right. I knew it wasn't a 5-star novel. The 1-stars seemed to come from people who objected to the religious overtones and assertions in the text. These days, I've learned that the system is so gamed, 5-star reviews don't mean much. I tend to skip them these days when I'm looking for reviews of a product.
