I got my original Playstation young, and even got the PSone, because it was "portable." The PS2 was a no brainer when a friend showed me MGS and Dynasty Warriors, but the real payoff was the launch PS3. Yes, its was expensive, but it also ate everything that came before it. If I recall, Bully for PS2 was more than enough until the games started coming in.

As a result, if I am getting an electronic device, my top choice is usually a Sony, provided it's in price range. Sometimes, I'll even go a little overboard, (UX-490n) but I'm NEVER unhappy with a Sony product.
