My 250/1000 is the Yaxell branded stone that was bundled with my knife as part of a deal with the retailer. I actually have no idea what brand my 3000/8000 is, i just wanted a cheap polishing stone because the 1000 didn't leave a great finish but this is the one... It leaves a pretty nice finish though imo

i have a 3k/8k stone, this one. And the rouge that I have comes in a bar and is apparently chromium oxide (green) made specifically for stainless steel. I mostly wanted to learn how to hone one because I have this one on hand. I don't have nearly enough facial hair to warrant using a straight razor.
