I've written about a Tiki Statue coming to life and taking a co-ed. I've written a pulp science fiction erotica about someone sticking a corn cob inside her to save the Earth.

Doing outside stuff renews me.

I remember something George RR Martin said toward his critics who didn't like he was doing OTHER things while the Game of Thrones series was incomplete.

Basically he said something like: "Doing OTHER stuff is part of my writing process." The Game of Thrones series is his money maker but he loves writing about his Wild Cards series. Do the same.

So maybe write something non-erotica. Write a romance. If you write straight erotica, try your hand at gay erotica. Just don't want to write sex? Do a short novella about time travelers in the 80s. Heck, write a children's book (with a different pen name of course).
