The following are some of my favorite books that I could think of off the top of my head. Hopefully you dig the list.
I read that same version and have to agree that MacAndrews is the best. The writing just seems to flow better than any of the other translations.

Brothers Karamazov
Brothers Karamazov is a great choice. I have read it many times & it is one of my top 5 books. Also, to echo others, it is not that difficult. It is an intense philosophical work, but Dive In! Use sparknotes & take your own personal notes, if necessary.
I started with the perhaps lesser known, but immensely readable MacAndrew translation.
Similarly hard to go wrong with P&V. Just finishing their translation of War & Peace. Highly enjoyable. P&V's Crime & Punishment was terrific as well. A taut thriller.
You won't be disappointed with any of these classics. Enjoy!
I read it in English, but I plan to read it in Russian, when I'm a little farther in my studies... I think this is the translation that I read. Like I said, I absolutely loved it.
