This the one I've read a couple times and it was great. Notes, commentary and a translation meant for the average reader.

Took me ... I think 4 years. I blazed through Inferno quick. Inferno, fantastic. Got sins, horrors, cold, all you could want.

Purgatory is just full of poncy angels, farting about as they do.

Paradise. Dang, Paradise. I get what they where trying to do, but its very hard to write heaven free from sins.

Will say the extra notes and stuff in the Oxford one helped when I got stuck on an idea or a soul's story. Maps a nice addition too. Purgatory and Paradise just utterly killed the book for me. I ended up finishing most of Paradise in a week as I was sick of keeping the book. Then I gave it to the guy at work.
