It won't be tossed in the trash. No, worse. You'll get a bullshit response.

My brother is very active in his local politics, and some of the letters he got back... If you performed symbolic analysis, you would discover that any given letter response is a page to a page and a half of absolutely nothing.

It's stunning how neutral their speech can be, how they can say so much and not address anything which you've originally written about. I've actually seen Markov Chain generators that produce speech like theirs.

You're left wondering at the end of the letter where your representative stands on the subject at hand. And they're so used to it, the bullshit is so fluid, it's obvious they're addressing you just to placate you, you both know they're not saying anything of substance.

Listing thousands of works of e-crap on Amazon isn't the same as writing a book that people will actual pay to read. This guy hasn't accomplished jack that I can see.
