In August, Preet Bharara hosted Michael Waldman on his podcast. Waldman is a 2A scholar who wrote The Second Amendment: A Biography. I thought it was a really good look at the why the 2A was written and the historical approaches the country has had with gun control.

If I may ask ya, what are your thoughts on this book https://www.amazon.com/Second-Amendment-Biography-Michael-Waldman/dp/1476747458/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497472611&sr=8-1&keywords=2nd+amendment+book. I hear its history from a typical pro gun control liberal standpoint.
It is quite debatable that the 2nd amendment is for the individual. That said, give The Second Amendment: A Biography a read. Left or right, for or against, this is a great book on the history of the 2nd.
Most of us in this forum agree with you though, so who are you yelling at? If you want to learn more there are plenty of excellent books that you can check out from the library
