It’s a Thinkware F800 Pro. I really like it, with the one caveat that it doesn’t seem to pair well with my 6s. It’s likely an issue with my phone. I haven’t tried it in a while - I should try it again soon with new iPhone updates. It still records, regardless. Lots of YouTube reviews of dash cams out there.

The more expensive cams can actually be useful when parked too. They’re usually idle, but when the car detects movement it wakes up and starts recording. Here is one that I’ve had my eye on for a while.
Simple. You want a dual camera setup. You can get this one for $130, and it looks like you must power it by a "cigarette lighter" outlet. Although you may be able to cut and separate the wires, or get yourself a hardwiring kit to connect it to your car's fuse box.
This is the one that I got, and I'm very happy with it. It is $430, but is a "flagship" camera and it shouldn't give you any trouble. It's a solid dashcam that can't really be beat right now. It has a "cigarette lighter" cord, as well as a hardwiring kit that allows you to wire it to your car's fuse box. Just search YouTube for how to hardwire a dashcam for your car's make and model.
This is $460 instead of $430, and has some sort of cloud connection that will alert you if your car leaves a certain radius from its parking space. Seems potentially useful, but maybe a cheap gimmick.

Look into the Thinkware f800. I don't know for certain if it has motion detection, but otherwise it has good reviews, has front and rear, and isn't horribly expensive.

This is one of the more expensive dash cams out there at $460, but I've heard wonderful things about it and I'm saving up to get it. It also comes with a hard-wiring harness and a rear-window cam, so you can record when someone rear ends you/hits you in a parking lot/clips your bumper in traffic.
