I'm moving to Seattle for an internship soon, and am having trouble deciding which shoes to bring (or whether I should purchase another pair), as well as jackets!
I already own this pair of Timberlands, but it has teddy fleece inside - would it be too warm for a Seattle winter?
Do people mainly wear rainboots, indoors at work as well? Or do they switch shoes once getting inside? I have a lot of leather shoes as well but I'm scared that the constant rain will ruin them. Looking for suggestions for shoes, or what you guys wear in constantly-raining conditions.
As for jackets - I'm going to bring a peacoat, and a leather jacket. I'm also thinking of whether I need a rain jacket or a soft shell? I might just wear a thicker sweater inside a thin rain shell? Would that be too cold for January - April?
Thanks!
