You want to make sure it's a class 10 card first of all, then look at the speed.
SD cards are so inexpensive now that I always recommend getting the fastest you can find.
As far as 32 vs 64, it's really personal preference and mostly doesn't matter.
I personally go with multiple 32's just because I like having enough that I don't have to hunt for an empty one.
SanDisk, Lexar and Transcend are all good cards.
I personally really prefer the Transcend brand. Just as fast and reliable as SanDisk & Lexar but less expensive.
They're cheap enough that multiple 64GB cards is totally plausible.
That's too bad. If you want an unsilicited suggestion, get this card. I have about 4 of these 64GB cards and they are extremely fast (when using a usb3 card reader, which I will also link below). I get around 80MB/s reads which makes importing into LightRoom a breeze.

As far as SDs for my backup D800 cards and my wife's d600 cards I use Transcend 64GB 600x 90mbs cards which are less than $40. I use all Transcend and they have been great.
There are multiple reviews on (German) Amazon stating that the EOS 600D and this card work perfectly together.
But I would probably pay 9$ more and get the faster one: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B00AFTV3FC/
This guy says the faster one does work better for him: http://www.amazon.com/review/R12P6JUT1Y66AF/
I don't see why it wouldn't work....but this one would be better.
