I'm sure you're going to get some good answers. If you're interested in these subjects, I think you'd really enjoy some of Stephen Hawking's more popular works. I recommend Universe in a Nutshell - Illustrated Brief History of Time. He's a very good science writer for the non-scientist, and that particular version has illustrations which help you understand difficult concepts a lot easier.

and anything stephen hawking. his lectures at colleges etc.

i mean, i knew it, but i never really thought about how the universe is mostly empty space, or maybe filled with something we can't perceive like dark matter and that everything is pushed/pulled around by magnetic force instead of 'touching'

it made me literally look at everything in the world differently.

that, and all the mindblowing einstein/relativity stuff explain in a way i understood.

also watch 'the universe' the bbc documentary. i watch it on netflix.
