I think you are the only person in this entire thread thus far that actually read the part about OP not having any free SATA ports.

OP, you can do what /u/michrech says here, or yes you can probably jimmy rig your eSATA port to hold your SSD long enough to move the VMs the way the other people are all saying. You just need some kind of a housing/cable that can take eSATA and your SSD.
