I <3 my Yoda top. I'm all of 5' 2" and most of the other folks in the free weight area are huge dudes squatting 400 lbs. So I get some extra giggles out of it. :)
I do love my Five Finger shoes. The traction is unreal, so I feel super stable while lifting. (They are NOT good MMA shoes. That awesome traction can cause some nasty twisting action at the knee when you're trying to kick.)
It is weird to have something between all your toes, though--and they really can be a major PITA to get on, but I think it's because of the kind I got. I insisted on having one that adjusts around the ankle and the only ones that do that are the ones that come up pretty far on the top of the foot. Something like these would probably be easier to deal with because of the lacing on the top.
Oh - if you're looking to use them to run, for the love of Pete, start slow!
