Reddit mentions of White IP camera (white)

This security cam is cheap and has good reviews. Bought one myself. You can set it up to e-mail you pictures when it detects movement. It has pan and tilt so you can control and monitor it from your phone in real time as well. You need to be a little tech savvy to set it up so you can access it outside your network. However, the Amazon reviews have step by step instructions on how to set it up (the manual is not too helpful).

I don't remember exactly but it was cheap. i got two giant blocks of it and only used one. but i don't think it cost more than maybe 10 or 20 bucks? I am sure i could have done this cheaper but i wasn't trying to skimp i was just trying to figure out if it would work. i had never heard of this before so it dawned on me to try it. i bought the tubs at walmart and i think they cost more than the insulation.
the camera was about 75 bucks and the thermometer I already had. it's wireless so i have a unit in my office that shows the temp.

they don't even make the camera anymore I don't think but it was cheap. this is it

it actually all started after I spend a ridiculous 71 dollars on a 'heated cat house' i found on amazon. it was awful. so i took the heated cat bed out and then built the new one.
