Yeah. Metal dice. They're not cheap, but they're not *too* expensive. Link, if you're interested.

I did all this with a miter saw, some drill bits for the holes, and a hand sander. I glued everything together. Just watched a few youtube videos. It was a pretty simple first project, but it's rewarding when you're done!
