y'know i don't think it's totally vaccuous. i've been reading zizek's treatment of this topic for unrelated reasons (okay to be fair that literally means his joke book...) and i think the commenters here are just unaware of how their jargon is standing in for what could be simpler terms. the point being made isn't particularly heady (i don't -think-, maybe i'm missing something).

just for the folks i see saying it's /meaningless/ as opposed to being needlessly provocative.
