I burnt mine in for ~60 hours straight doing white noise / frequency sweeps. made quiet a big difference to out of the box sound! i found them a touch bright to begin but after burning in, they became a lot more punchy. they are very tip sensitive, while trying to get the best fit and seal with foam's going between generics, comply and the supplied none memory foam tips all produced a different sound. I found the generic zanari tips off amazon produced the most pleasing bass / mids and the vocals were fantastic. (other tips made some bass a bit too much / boomy for me, the pressure rattled my brain lol) I always thought burn in was a myth but after reading paul from ibasso keep saying they really needed it, i gave it a shot and am glad i did.
I'm not a big fan of comply, they break down too fast. The Tennmak tips last longer but can be a little stiff.
