The RP500 is over 10 years old, and modelling tech has come a long way since then. Check out the Zoom G3Xn. It lets you stack models, for example an overdrive, phaser and a Marshall stack, allowing you to turn this on/off.

I've been quite happy with a zoom multieffects pedal. It's 3 pedals at once, and you pick which pedal goes where in what order and so on. I've since purchased a number of my favorites as discrete pedals. While they're perhaps better in some ways, it's pretty subjective if I'm being honest, and it's hard to beat the value I get from it. I'd recommend anyone get one of these things if they can afford it and want to try a bunch of pedals. There are cheaper ones out there too that offer fewer effects at once or remove the expression pedal. I can't say I recommend Digitech multieffects, the tactile buttons wear out quickly and you're left with a kind of shitty piece of plastic. Digitech's stand alone stompers are great, but avoid their multieffects. Boss' ME25's interface always confused me, but it's Boss, so the effects are pretty good.
