Suction cups always suck imo, but as dividers go, I cant say I hate this one.

That said, you can put together a square of PVC. Go to a Michaels or hobby lobby and buy like 5 sheets of this mesh. (#5 mesh is better for breeder net, #7 will kinda work as a divider)

https://www.michaels.com/plastic-canvas--7-mesh--clear--18-x-12-inches/D059202S.html?cm_mmc=PLASearch-_-google-_-MICH_Shopping_US_N_ArtSupplies_N_N_N_N_GOS-_-Art+Supplies&gclid=CjwKCAjw5fzrBRASEiwAD2OSVwgwvup5vsT2VrJnZx6YnM7VDOzLIZWSLJMJwLoNirSfQMmBNTFqSRoC6KgQAvD_BwE

And if you have them, tiny zip ties, or just grab some acrylic yarn and a plastic yarn needle that can still pass through the holes, and sew together a box from it with a bottom. And then sew it around the pvc. It's all of 8 seams and you just have to seal it enough to prevent fry from escaping. You could make a breeder net up in maybe an hour. If you had to buy pvc it wouldn't be worth it. But if you had a stick laying around and maybe just needed the 4 elbows, it'd be a fun little project.

Here's an example. He doesnt use a pvc ring to tie it to.

Sure! Here's a better shot of it.

The legs are made out of PVC pipe with some elbows. Then I wrapped it with some plastic mesh I found on amazon. The top is this [egg crate] (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078Q2N1BC/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o03_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1) that I got on Amazon as well. The back is supported with suction cups and zip ties. The top has reptile carpet that I bought from Petsmart and zip tied it to the egg crate. Then I put a fake plant suction cupped to the side of the tank as my final touch.

It's worked well for me so far, my Sideneck spends basically all afternoon up there most days.

They came on the tank. I got the tank from Kmart (Australia) for $25. It's a 5 gal and came with a filter that you can change the output from really strong to literally nothing.

Edit: I found this listing on Amazon.

They have other ones as well, but these were the cheapest :)

Got the idea from here and tracked down the seller here. While not Prime, arrived in 4 days. The reviews were spot on about it. Excellent quality. They also have 24" stalks. Used fish tank "egg crates to hold it at the top.

You can buy a tank divider or make your own divider or box with plastic canvas and suction cups. Prefab dividers will be tough to find for your size tank but you could attach them together. It would be expensive.

I've used plastic canvas to make isolation boxes. I just sewed edges together with fishing line. If you want a full tank dividers you'll need to do the same as individual sheets won't be big enough for a 300g. It's a cheap and effective solution. Just choose plastic canvas with larger holes to reduce impact to water flow. You can even cut the smaller holes into larger holes, further reducing the effect.

No, it's just holes like an egg crate or milk crate.

I assume it's normal use is to diffuse light but I've never seen them used in their traditional purpose. I've only seen them used as aquarium lids, dividers, aquascaping, and DIY filtration systems.

People call them egg crates. I found these on amazon. The ones I got had to be modified to snap them together. Here is the link although I would probably look at other ones than these, but it will get you going in the right direction.

>I’d actually put the Domino in an acclimation box

That link is what I have for the Domino without the divider in the middle, How long would you leave the Domino in it before reintroducing?
