Has anyone used the McGraw hill FL tests? https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/1259859622/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s01?ie=UTF8&psc=1

I figured 3 tests for $30 was a good deal. They don't have any score conversions, just a raw score

No need for anyone to cosign anything. The graduation rate for med schools is above 90% and because of the high income and employment rates, it's not really a gamble for the lenders. Therefore, getting loans is as easy as signing a paper.

I needed more loans since I ran out of money and literally just walked into financial aid, asked for $2000 more, signed, and within 3 days, it was in my bank account.

Don't take out more than you need. If you manage to pay it off in 10 years, you end up paying double the principle. Consider you take out 250k in loans in 4 years-->500k in 10 years. However, you have 3+ years of residency where you won't be able to pay much, so pretend it's 500k in 6 years, that's about 90k a year loan repayments. ~180k income -30% taxes & insurance expenses leave with with very little. You'll be a poor doctor if you take out too many loans.

If you take longer than 10 years to pay off, the final amount will be even higher, though reducing amount paid per year. This is just a theoretical situation provided by the loan counselor, but it gives you an idea.

I only take out 35k a year since I pay in state tuition and am frugal. Out of staters take out double that.

Also, use EXAM KRACKERS to study. It is really simple, comprehensive, and cheap!
